Nominee

A nominee in insurance is the person who receives the benefit amount from the insurer after the policyholder passes away. A policyholder can name one or more nominees in their life or health insurance policy.

A nominee is usually a close relative of the policyholder, such as husband, wife, mother, father, son, daughter, etc.
