Annual Health Checkup
Some health insurance policies in India cover annual preventive health checkup costs for all insured persons. It is a package of preventive medical tests undertaken for general assessment of health. It excludes any diagnostic or investigative medical test for evaluation of any illness.
Some health insurance plans extend built-in annual health checkups to all their subscribers. Some others offer it as an optional cover which can be purchased with an extra premium. Annual health checkups come with an upper limit, which is over and above the base sum insured. Hence, payment of annual health checkup claims does not reduce the base coverage.
